Finally! The day has come! Getting off this stupid island! No more frogs and centipedes in the room, no more bad weather, no more boredom!!! (hopefully)
We went for breakfast at 9 I ordered scrambled eggs on toast, the eggs tasted rank I don't know what it was maybe the eggs had gone off! So I stuck to my toast! Annie came running for me shed been to drop off the playing cards and found out that we had to get our own way to a different pier and the taxi boat left in two minutes!!! Nothing like rushing ;)
So we got a 20minute taxi boat to krabbi, had to wait 30minutes, then got a minibus for two and a half hours to a service station looking place! God knows where we were they had a food stall and a ticket stall with a roof! Nothing more! We were told the coach would leave there at 12:30... It left gone 1!! We were on that coach for almost three hours, which then left us at another dock! 20minute air there then on the boat! Yep you guessed it... Two and a half hours on the boat! Kill me now!
Finally though, we get to Koh phangan around 6:30 only 30 minutes late so not too bad but the boat dropped us at the wrong side of the island, we were supposed to walk 5minutes to our beach hit but we were another 30minute taxi ride away! Another £6 later.... We arrived in paradise!
Our room is literally on the beach on stilts, 10 metres from the water! We dumped our bags and went straight out without even showering we were both starving!!!
Theres a few bars to choose from, all really nice everyone's friendly and there all cheap :) we ate pizza for like £2-ish and it was huuuuuge! There's these stalls outside the restaurants they rent the space for 3,000baht a month (that's £60!!) and just sell alcohol there all so funny there like flies to s*** when anyone walks past!
"hello hello darling" " hello sexy pretty boy" "hey, you johnny depp" Everytime you look at them they just want you to come and spend! But not in a horrible way I thought it was cute that there all in such close competition! There signs are 'fill me bucket' and so on!....
...and it was happy hour and our favourite stall, Alex's bar gave us two free shots so three buckets of Maii Thai later, done! Bed!
Oh ps, the one and only good thing that ever came of going Railay was we got to see these monkeys as we were walking out of our hotel!
