We are setting off for our holiday on 16 June via Abu Dhabi to Paris then touring the chateaux and wineries of the Loire Valley for the first week. We then over to the UK for a week driving in the Cotswolds finishing up with a long weekend in London as she prepares for the Olympics. Next we head to Dover and hop on a ferry across the Channel back into France to meet with our special Belgian friends Rita and Herman for a week touring Normandy. Then its back into Paris for a week and a half of French culture including the Bastille Day celebrations. Next we drive east through Champagne into Switzerland then continuing on to Bavaria to visit our Munich friends Phil and Kerstin, and to meet their new son Felix. We then head back west towards Switzerland to spend some time in SW Germany with Taddy and to meet her family in Engen before back to France for a final weekend in Paris. Our flight home arrives 31 July.
