After a swim and breakfast we are picked up by Bun and his 6 year old son Dona at 8.30 all ready to take off in his jeep for a great day out. We head out of Siem Reap through small villages. No plans today so we have a swim and a late breakfast. Sam is joining us for breakfast today and he shows up somewhat worse for wear. After we left him last night he must have got a second wind because he and the others went home at about 4.30am. Our day started with a swim in the pool just outside our door followed by showers and beautiful breakfast . We got a tuk tuk to Sister Srey cafe where we meet Sam in preparation for our surprise tour. At 10 am we are picked up Buntha and the driver Guan and we head out of town towards the temple area. Out in the middle of nowhere we stop and Buntha says now we ride. Out if the van comes 4 mountain bikes and once we are fitted for size and all adjusted we head off...

We farewell our tour group at the hotel. Some are departing the same time as us so we are on a bus together to the airport. The others leave later in the day so they wave us goodbye. Our flight with Cambodian Airlines is only 1 hour and is an easy comfortable trip. Sam met us at the airport as planned and had a tuk tuk waiting to take us and our luggage to Shinta Mani Resort, our home for the next 4 nights. The hotel is sensational and the staff are so attentive....

This morning we go down for breakfast and once again we are so spoilt for choice including fresh juices and specialty coffees like Vietnamese iced coffee made with condensed milk Yum!
