MeznG. In the air, on the road, river or sea again
This morning we woke up in Passau Germany. Glenn and I are travelling to Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic and Milton and Liz are going to Salzburg in Austria to check if the jills are still alive with the Sounds of Music.
Both are full day trips and we will return to the ship in Linz Austria this evening.
Cesky Krumlov is a world UNESCO Heritage town in the south Bohemian region of the Czech Republic. The town and it's castle were built on the Vltava River in the 13th century.
The history and stories surrounding this town and communism are interesting and our guide who lives on Cesky and has grown up behind the iron curtain is happy to share her experiences.
The drive to and from Cesky is very pretty. We've all had a good day.
