Istanbul, Turkey
What an amazing layer upon layer place! John has made the observation that Istanbul seems a lot more affluent and relaxed compared to when he was here 20 years ago. The touts are less aggressive. However, there is still a few people who are very happy to part you from your money on a small or large scale.
Adam Zia Olivo-Khairzada What a beautiful place, a true Mediterranean delight. This little Greek Island with ancient it's history offers great settings to enjoy a wonderful Greek wine and cuisine near the sea.

re: Knidos (Cnidus, Buyuk Limani), Turkeymarisa wot a great photo! I am dead envious of your trip and all that scrummy food...it takes me back to my visit to Venice as a backpacker with no mulla which meant bread and cheese dinners....enjoy enjoy enjoy
re: Venice, ItalyAri Flora Your a tramp! Lobster pasta after a dip in gin...haha!! How fabulous!
re: Oia, Santorini, GreeceSB That sounds even cooler than the caves at Coober Pedy. I'm sure you have too much on to do any painting, but maybe the photos will capture something good for when you're back.
