Hi Ian ,Mel & Mark Just now got back from Manchester after spending the night there.Hotel cost & £71 each ( yes Dad thats £142 for the night).Mama mia show was fab, dancing most of the night.Night out drinking in Manchester isn't cheap and we went to "Chinatown" for a great meal.Don't tell dad but there's not much change left from £400.Going down Canal street were all the gay bars are is a eye opener, men dressed as women what a sight. No need to ask if you are having a nice time, no doubt you will havea few tales to tell when you get back ( will you be coming back??) Off to the works do now, free beer, free food and maybe free women. C ya soon Barry

Well, finally got here in Thailand after 26hrs travelling and what a fantastic place. Met Mel and Mark at the airport very emotional but what the heck. Taxi to our digs, 3.50 a night now I am skint. Went out for a meal had the dogs b******s with loads of beer and struggled to spend a fiver (alright for grandad brock and Barry and Kevin) LOL. then went to another bar and had an ice tower of nealy 4lt of beer hic! Then on our way back met the bug man, deep fried c*** roach, cricket and scorpian. Me and Mark had a competeion as men do and all I can say is that I am a spider and Mark isn't (sick anfd photos to prove) Been round some temples today...there are temples what more can I say, the street traders are out of this world and cheap, like 15p for a bottle of real squeezed OJ and a cocktail of sex on the beach about a pound or the real thing for 1.50 LOL. Well just had dinner dont ask me what it was all I can say it was great and went down well with loads of ice beer and cost between the 3 of us about 10.00 and that was a lot of drinks. I will add more later only off to Koh Toa tomorrow night for christmas on the beach (small island 12 hr coach journey) Cannot wait. Hi Mel. Your grandad Brock has never liked Christmas.Did you know we had the same christmas tree for over 20 years at mile cross road. It was a cheap 2 and a half foot tree. He's a tight git. Hope you are still enjoying yourselfs and looking forward to seeing your dad next week. spoke to him today and he cant wait to get there. Hi Mel and Mark, I am getting really excited now only 4 days and I take off. Its Sat night and I am round Bisty and Donna's getting pissed on wine and vodka hic! but what the f*** I will be with you soon. Its freezing cold, everyone is being great which is very humbling. hey ann- thanx it means alot- i'm fine now-just a shock. but i'm going to be in thailand next week with dad, so can't wait shame mum won;'t be there- but u no.anyway thailand will be alot cheaper then sydney, due to cricket theres 20,000 more people in sydney and after the 20th od december we had no where to stay. the s***test hostels are charging 100 bucks anight for a crappy dorm room and thats about 45quid!!! wherea in thailand its 5poubnd for a double room!!!
