So.
Thought we couldn't blog from our phone but it turns out after some hard work we can haha..
So we have been travelling for 2 weeks now! The hardest thing of these two weeks has to h e been saying goodbye to our parents and families at Heathrow airport.. But we knew it had to be done :-(
When we arrived in Bangkok we were so tired we struggled to carry our backpacks! We thought to ourselves how the hell are we going to be able to carry these for long periods of time!!
We got in a taxi and was taken to our hostel for the night, I have to say it wasn't amazing but we just needed somewhere to sleep!!
The next morning we got up early to catch a flight down to the south of Thailand where we were to get on a bus then a ferry to then arrive at Koh Phangan! We arrived at our first destination!! Sitting at that bar with a beer in hand waiting for our room to be finished was the best feeling in the world!!
Our home for the next few days was simple but still amazing!
We decided to do something on our second day so after looking through leaflets we found a trip which included kayaking snorkelling a Chinese temple a Thai lunch and a waterfall. Little did we know it was THE perfect way to start our trip!! We met some amazing people and done some incredible things! The beach we visited was amazing and the island we kayaked too was simply spectacular!
While on Koh Phangnan it was the full moon party, 30,000 people partying on a beach! It was needless to say amazing!
While sitting at our hotel one evening we noticed a flashing light in the distance in the sky, we thought it was just a plane but it turned out to bee a huge storm over neighbouring island Ko Samui!
We visited a night market while here and experienced the biggest rainfall we had ever seen!
Once our visit had come to an end we need to book our next ferry across the sea to Ko Tao where we would begin our scuba diving! While trying to book this we came across our first obstacle... Fully booked!! DAMN! The only thing we had to do was head to the port at 8am to hope and prey that there was some spare tickets going...
Lucky for us there was!!
NEXT STOP KO TAO!!!
