Megan, you sound like you are having a blast. I am so happy for you!!! Just do me a favor and please remind all the girls there in Europe that they need to be modest!!! I miss you tons. I really would love to get together with you when you come back to SLC!
Beth
I think you're blessed to feel at home in so many places because you are at home with yourself and with others. It's a gift.
Beth
I liked reading your message after seeing the pictures you posted of Prague. What an amazing place to visit! You're so cosmopolitan!
Amy
Well, M, you've finally visited a European city that I haven't. I am trying not to be jealous. I'm looking forward to hearing about the city.
How are you faring in the language department? Do you pretty much speak English or have you attempted some phrases in the native language? Do you have to ask for water without "gas"? I always had a hard time with that. ;)
Dave
So have you walked across Prague to find out you can span it in 45 minutes? I'll be eager to read about what you've seen, who you've met and where Prague ranks in your list of European cities -- now that you're such the world traveler.
Beth
See, your brain isn't turning to mush! What an amazing week! I can just see the curious on-lookers watching you sketch. Cool. It's great that you're getting to sketch London as well as be there.
I have to admit that I wasn't observant enough to notice before that I could post a comment. Thanks for the nudge. Love you!
Dave
OK, I'm done patting myself on the back. Now, as for your blog, I'd love to see you direct "Dream," and I'm curious about how you would play your character differently (since you nailed that part so well the first time around). Amy told you about the Cubs' losses. Yes, my prayers went for naught again. I never really went for this lovable losers line. There is nothing to love about losing. I do, however, love the hope we all have to win. It's that hope, not the wins per se, that keep me going. Well, we did see your Red Sox win and they just wrapped up their series. Hope your transit card comes through again. I'd hate to see you "locked out" of experiencing London and its surroundings.
Amy
Hi, M! I've been reading, too. It's hard to figure out how to leave comments (I think I've been spoiled by places like facebook).
Anyway, well blogged. I'm glad you took that drawing class. It's easy to forget some of the stuff you enjoy when you get so busy with life stuff. I'm jealous about your Prague trip. Take lots of pictures.
BTW, the trip to see the Cubs was fun but depressing. But, I guess that since I like both things that are fun and that are depressing, it was the perfect trip for me. I think I'll be sad for a while, though. It's a good thing I've got playlists full of depression music!

Tell the British Museum to return the Elgin Marbles. World museum, blah, blah. They should make a permanent loan to the new Acropolis museum which is not far from becoming a world museum in its own right. The museum would be more that willing to do some exhibit sharing and let the stuff visit the British Museum every once in a while.
Also, read this. It's very insightful in determining what to take away from you observations about things and places.
I am reading this blog! I was too dumb to figure out how to comment before, but I was persistent and figured it out just now. Yay! We are thrilled that you are having this opportunity.

I like your blog
especially in paragraph form

John is checking on those Euro flights, Web sites and destinations. Also, Amy and I are hitting the Red Sox-Angels playoff game Friday night and Cubs-Dodgers playoff game Saturday night. Isn't post-season life wonderful?
