Megan and Scott's European Adventure!
After a slow start to the day we had to say goodbye to Kimmy who is spending New Years in Poland. We were left alone in this big city to fend for ourselves! After quite a few wrong turns we learnt what a great job our tour guide Kimmy was doing! We spent the afternoon at the Tower of London that started being built in the second century! It was home to the monarchy and a prison for the country's worst traitors, who were often beheaded.
Today it is home to 39 royal soldiers and their families, as well as the crown jewels. This photo is of a guard guarding the crown. I don't have a photo of the crown because the line up was about 500 metres long!

Deebs I find the age and the craftmenship of the buildings fascinating. I would spend a lot of time looking at architecture. Enjoy
Kaylene It's hard to imagine the age of these buildings - and we thought the Rocks buildings were old! It is all living history, I just hope Ian doesn't think I won't need to go now I have seen it through eyes. Thanks for keeping us updated so well
