It's 11.30pm on Christmas day and we are trying to sleep at the airport. Everything is closed and we have been kicked into a waiting room. There is an awful breeze. It's cold and smells like train station. I have been trying to use the advice Mum gave me when I was a kid at the motordrome one night, freezing my butt off... 'Close your eyes and imagine you are some place warm'. I'm trying, and the relaxing sound of Bill Miller's (c/o Deebs) wind pipe coming from my iPod and awesome new earphones (also thanks to Deebs) (and Diiid) is helping. It's the kind of music you hear in beauty salons so I'm imagining I'm getting a massage. This also helps the pain in my back caused by these very 'comfy' chairs! It seems to be working. Maybe this 'changing your thinking' thing really does work Michael Carr-Gregg! Hang on, someone has just sat down next to me. The train station smell has gone and been replaced by overpowering lynx deoderant in an attempt to hide the stench of stale cigarettes. Nice!
Despite this and probably another painful 6 hours of it, we have had an absolutely wonderful Christmas day! Thanks to ya'll that spoilt us. It has been very memorable and we will miss you very much.
I will turn my phone off now so that I have some battery left for our adventure at the fun end of our journey!
Over and out!

Deebs The power of the mind. I am using it too and imagining I am on your exciting trip as well. Yes, I see London, Big Ben and The Eye. OH! that didn't last long Dad wants a cup of coffee at Ellalong. Oh well at least that smells better than Lynx cigarette flavoured deoderant.
Penny & Wesley Wesley and Penny are silly...... they put the comment for this page on the previous blog.
Brookie The joys of international travel! Hope you didn't have to sit next anyone with odour issues or snoring problems on the plane :)
