well well well, the sun is showing itself slowly today, still a few clouds but much nicer then days before, not sure what the forcast will be like later though. Today is my last day in tulum, i'm ready to go. we take a night bus to palenque tonight and will spend a few days there. now my plan is to get to guatemala, recent reports say its slooded and the roads are gone in most places, not hard to imagine the way its set up, but if it doesn't rain for a few days it will be fixed and good to travel again. Not sure when that will be and wondering if i should get cashe to change his flight to someplace in mexico. I emailed a person at my school in antigua who i should here from in the next 24 hours who can give me a better idea of the situation. right now my plan is still the same.
Yesturday, by the way, was really wicked, it ended up clearing for the afternoon on and we went to the cenote by colective and walking for 2km to snorkle it, a completely different experience the diving, and really fun, swimming between stelagmites and finding how far i could into the caverns and swimming through holes. Don't worry, i was safe and aware of the area and made sure i could do what i was trying. but it was really freaky looking into the dark caves that where full of light when i dove them 3 days ago, even though i know what was down there.
all in all still haveing fun and the rain isn't really putting a damper on things for me. hope all is well with every one
P.S. happy birthday dad!!!
