Grand Canyon, Arizona

It's monsoon season in the Grand Canyon. No joke. Full fire restrictions. Had a great day hiking the South Rim between the Grand Canyon Visitors Center and the Village. The park has a great shuttle bus system and it is very convenient.

Boarded the train around 9:15am. It was a 2 1/2hr trip. The countryside is very dry. People have water transported to their homes. 2000gal costs around $30. Water is stored in a cistern. …
