Day 19 - Palm Valley - Alice Springs
Alice Springs, Northern Territory
Today we left Palm Valley and headed towards Alice Springs. On the drive we walked to lots of gorges. Our first stop was Glen Helen for morning tea. I had a muffin, it was so HOT.
After that we went on our first walk. We walked to the lookout at Ormiston Gorge. We had to climb a lot of steps. There were a lot of trees and bushes. We could see a long way over big mountains. We could also see down into a gorge were there was a waterhole.
Our second stop was Serpentine Gorge. There was a big wall of really smooth rocks, from where the water runs over them. It looked like the rocks could fall down!
Finally we went to Ellery Creek Big Hole. We saw a guy backflipping off trees into the water. We tried to skim rocks.
We made it into Alice Springs late in the afternoon.
