Today we spent most the day at Aleks Aunt and Uncles place. They made us a traditional polish breakfast consisting of cold vegetable salads, hard boiled eggs, smoked sausage, ham, polish crusty bread, and plenty of Poland's favorite drink...HOT TEA! They drink it 3-4 times a day. Later we went to Yareks (Aleks cousin) house in the country. He is getting married July 4 of this year and is in the process of building a home. It looked pretty cool. The structure is totally different than in the states. Here we use wood to build the skeleton of a house, there they use concrete blocks.
We then went to a castle that was used as a Nazi amo outpost during WW2. The castle was originally built for a mistress of a king...that right a mistress not the wife ;) We also visited a church outside of Krakow, in the town Yareks building in.
