Msafiti's Travels
Another day in Saigon and this morning I went to see the War Museum. The museum focuses on the impact of war on the Vietnamese people and the aftermath, especially Agent Orange. One of the displays includes preserved, deformed foetuses due to the chemicals. There were also lots of US weapons and machines used in the war.
We then spent most of the afternoon at the hotel pool on the roof. Later, Dad and Zawadi went to the Saigon Museum which shows the history of the area. Tomorrow night we have 'soft sleepers' booked to go north to Hue, the site of the old DMZ.

56L Hi Muffy, We hope your enjoying the start of your trip! Your photos look great. What else did you see in the Museum? How was the water puppet show? It sounded interesting! What types of food have you been eating? Anything like what Mr Mac ate? What other countires are you visiting during your trip? We had Transistion Day yesterday, it was fun being with the grade 4s. The Grade 6s pretty much just had free time and watched movies. Miss you and enjoy the rest of your trip. (We'll keep writing back each week) From 5/6C
