Invercargill, New Zealand
After a night camping at Toko Mouth on the east coast - and intense winds - it was off to Invercargill following the coast. We stopped at Nuggett Point for lunch and walking around the coast to the lighthouse. In the late afternoon we set up camp on a llama farm in Lumsden, and had a quiet night by the fire. The girls arrived at 4.30 am, but we had no trouble getting up as it was mandatory for everyone in NZ to get up at 3.30 am to watch the All Blacks beat Argentina in the Rugby World Cup from England. Then off down the road to Dunedin, watching the sun rise on snow clad mountains as we drove. In Dunedin we walked up the steepest street in the world, the off to Cadbury Chocolate for a factory tour and all the chocolate we could eat in an hour. Other places visited :...
