After a very sound sleep in our little cabin on board the ferry. We ate a hearty breakfast in the dining room overlooking the water.
The late afternoon was filled with excitement as a pod of whales was spotted off port side.
Shades of grey through sliver with calm waters. The rain and cloud of the morning broke up to allow the sun in to warm us all for most of the day.

Time on the ferry very enjoyable whether it was watching wildlife, movies about the history of Ketchikan, or the boats wake. We loved the shipboard tenters, passengers and the evening meal in the boat's glass walled dining room.
