The weekend following my visit to Seoul I went to Ilsan Beach and Daewangam Forest - Ulsan is a port city based on the east coast of South Korea. It has a variety of beaches but the only one I have so far been to is Ilsan beach, the complete opposite side of the city from me, so a nice two-bus, 1.5 hour ride away. My brief experiment in putting the middle school students desks in a horse shoe shape ended Friday as I found students seem to work better when their desks are in normal rows....a disappointing conclusion.
