right second entry. the start of my New Zealand experience started very slow. we had to spend two nights in Auckland wehn we only wanted to do one, so we decided to get the washing done. it was my first cloth washing experience! didn't think much of Auckland and couldn't wait to leave.

we headed up to the Bay of Islands on the third day. this is where our drinking experience began. we got wasted and we had to get up nice and early to go see some dolphins. the boat journey was horrible!! officially the worst think for a hangover is a boat trip. was sick twice and the worst thing is we didn't see any dolphins!!

we had to travel back down to auckland for one night so instead of just goin to bed me and lee went out. was a good night plenty to drink again.

we made our way to Mercury Bay where we just had a piss up. did a bit of dancing but the bar was a locals bar and everyone was massive!

the next day we were off to Rotarua. we went luging in the day which was like go karting down hill. it was a good buzz but a few injuries occurred. this is also where we went and saw a Mauri village. it was a quality experience and interesting to see how they do things.

waitomo was next. we arrived in the afternoon and for some reason everyone started drinking! everyone ended up wasted and stayed out at the local bar. everyone was very messy! good night!

Taupo!! we spent two days here. we went to a bar round the corner and there was a quiz on so everyone from the hostel was there. we didn't win but found out people were cheating. got wasted again and had a good dance. the next day it was ski diving time! was the best thing i've ever done. thought i was gonna poo myself. got photo's and a dvd so will show people when i get back. we went out for a meal with everyone from or bus and guess what everyone was drinking again! never drank so much in one week!

as i'm writing this i'm in river valley. its a little lodge sort of thing and everyone is drinking again. i've decided to be well behaved and not drink. how boring am i. we had a quality bunch of people on our bus which is making this such a good time. looking forward to moving on and getting to a lively town
