First Day of Training - Wake up at 5a.m and head down to the training centre. Start straight away with a run which was v.tiring, followed by stretching. 7a.m we had breakfast, (boiled egg and rice). Short rest after breakfast and then we began traditional shaolin training, this consisted of a short warm up with kicks etc and then into practice of "forms" or patterns. This was pretty cool and I think we did ok. Traditional Saholin class finished at 10.15 and at 10.30 we began San dow (kickboxing). This was an eye opener, the punch pags are solid as a rock and he made us hold our positions for what seemed like years., I had some serious cramp and bloody knuckles. I then had to head to siping to cash my travellers cheques. Following dinner and filling in this note I have to go to meditation. to be continued ........
