Thanks for the update on Banff. Forget what we say about the updates. That should be the last thing on your list. Fewer updates, the more we know you are enjoying yourselves, and that is what you are there for.

Hi chaps.
Just got back from the weekend in Norfolk, no hills there! Went for a nice long walk along the beach at Wells (the one with all the beach huts Matt), had fish 'n chips on the quay and then dinner with Andy and Lisa. Had lunch at Debra & John's on Sunday and then back home today. Mum checked out everone's bathrooms, they all came up to spec you'll be pleased to hear!

Sorry to hear about your fine for getting a lift on the back of a pick-up Alex. If that was South Africa you would have got a fine for not filling it up. Hope the snow is up to scratch and that the "tourists" leave you in peace soon to get on with your boarding.

Have checked out the La Maison du Patriote hostel - looked very nice, strange that there were so many photos of curtains at windows, and none of the bathrooms. The rest of the family think I am now fixated on bathrooms, I am not, it is just a healthy interest in sanitaryware! Mum x
