Hi Everybody! Well the terrible trio have survived their first few days Traveling but only just hehe. - Once we had left the Rock we arrived in London and checked into the Jurys Inn, however this ended up being much more dangerous than we had been prepared for as by the time we had checked out in the morning Rusty had cut his hand on his knife and I had taken the skin off my finger with the zip on my bag :) We got up early in the morning to go to the Airport (Mel shifted a few bits over to my bag to help her out a bit as she was 3K heavier than me to start, although Rusty was the heaviest weighing in at 20.7), seemed like a long flight and we felt minging when we arrived. - We walked out the Aiport (much hotter than we had expected) and made our way to the bus stop, luckily as we were staring at the map on the side a cool old guy came along and gave us advice, he told us which route we had to take (on the bus and tube) and also that the directions we had been given on the internet were a load of rubbish. It took us a while to get there 2 buses and a tube and another bus followed by a mile walk down a street called the Apache trail (this was hard going). When we got there though it was just like someones house, there were some other people staying there who chatted to us but there wasn't a front desk or anything and we had to ring the owner called Adam and wait half an hour for him to arrive (was a bit of a shock as we were just looking forward to 15 mins rest in our room but ended up waiting in the kitchen with these other people). Anyway after a bit Adam arrived and took us to the downtown place (281 George street), this was the same again a guest house but a much better location near the town centre and near a subway entrance, not in the middle of nowhere like that damn Apache trail...! We put our bag in the room, had a quick scout around, saw a bit of live music at the Eaton centre (which reminded me of Times Square in NY) and then a quick pint in a bar called the Imperial before we hit the sack (The Candian beer is quite nice)!
