hello all last 4 days as are follow..
14th july: woke up a tad late as to get some rest in the went down the beach as the weather was pretty good. we then hired a banna boat and all proceeded to fall in every 30 seconds apart from by jim using his UPPER ARM STRENGTH. then kicked back in the pool and decided to go and get some serious tai currys. we then went out into pattaya walkin street to see some live american music (big black lady) and then out into the night.
15th july: woke up in a massive panic at half ten to check out the hotel at 11, we then went lookin for a bus to get down to ko chang and caught a taxi thing to the bus station to find out the busses there only went to bangkok, so we caught a taxi thing all the way back into town to find out the bus leaves at about 7.30 in the mornin to ko chang and that we missed it. we booked the buss for the next day check back into hotel and went for some food. feeling fragile we got an earlyish night.
16th july: got the buss down to ko chang, took about 5 hours to get all the way there, then over on a ferry and a taxi to lonley beach. Thick lush rain forest with beach side bungalows and butterflys as big as your face. went down the beach but started to rain (that will be monsoon season) so went to a bar and got some tai food and watched a chuck norris film. we then met 3 sound english people from leeds and pool, jager and slow mo fights followed.
17th july: as last escalated somewhat we woke late morning to find out that a place near to us sold english breakfasts, after this we caught bus up to white sand bay found a class hotel and went down the beach again. is an awesome beach with beutiful cocanut trees and winding coast lines. found a kool, resurant/bar and watched a late night fire show.
today (18th): got up early to embark on our elephant treck.. we got a taxi up into the rain forrest to this elephant camp whitch is home to absolutly amzing ex working elephants. seeing them up close was breathtaking and we went for a 40 minute trek through the rainforest and down streams. we then had the chance to feed the elphants banannas and walked down to a local stream. hear we we the first in the deep pool to be joined by two of the elephants for a wash. we rode them, swam with them, washed them and got comically squirted in the face by there trunks. it was an unforgetable expirence and we were all really made up about it. we then came back to the beach to get tai massarges for an hour (4 quid) on the sea front. just goin out to get some food and book another night hear..
hope all are well
