Around the world in about 269 days...
Our first stop on the Southern Scenic Route was Dundedin. Partly for the fact that we heard it was a nice place (which it was) but mostly because Cadburys World was there. We went, we saw, we ate... and ate some more! After a look around the city we headed south towards Roaring Bay where we saw the very rare Yellow Eyed Penguins - it was cool watching them waddle out of the sea on to the beach. Our next stop were the Purakaunui Falls before visiting the huge Cathedral Caves, Petrified Forest at Curio Bay and the southern most point of New Zealand - Slope Point. We ended our journey in Invercargill which was pretty well what Mick Jagger said it was when he visited, "the a****** of the world".
