Glad to be out of hervey bay and away from the awful weather we went to noosa next, this place is quality its got great shops, beautiful beaches, loads of bars and restaurants and rivers which carve there way through the town to the sea its a really naturally beautiful place. To keep ourselves occupied the first day we did a big walk which hugs the coastline and takes u to some amazing beaches and lookout points, noosa is really popular with the surf crowd who try and find their way down to these hidden beaches to try and catch the best swells! also whales and dolphins can be seen from a lot of these lookouts, after an awful dinner later that evening cooked by erin we hit the hay early to get ready for our big day to visit autralia zoo home of the lengend steve erwin "crocodile hunter" wot a bloke! The zoo didnt dissapoint and a free bus picked us up from our hostel early which was a right bonus! The zoo was really great focusing mainly on just animals from australia which was nice because there are some really endangered animals there which they are trying to build back up. The main attraction of the day was the show at the 5000 seater crocoseum, you really cant explain how big some of these crocs actually are until u have seen them in the flesh they are awesome and it was great to be able to get so close to them throughout the day even though we have seen some in the wild already on the daintree river it was still an amazing experience, its a really well looked after zoo and the staff come up to you and see if you want to touch wotever it is they mite be carrying around with them at the time. Erin was more into the cuddly creatures like the wombats and tiget cubs but we both loved hand feeding the big old kangaroo's some of these b*****s grow to over 8ft tall and if they wanted to they could really hurt u with a big boot in the stomach or nuts or wotever! They were really timid though and after a while of them standing by eyeing you up they would come over and have a bit of food right out of your hand, they are really wicked animals. We both had an amazing day at the zoo and while ur walikng around ur just expecting steve to come jumping out of a bush or something because he is still talked about in every show like he is not dead, the bloke is an absolute legend or as he would put it "a little ripper" shame he wasnt around for us to see him anymore, but hey CRIKEY we had a good day! Later that evening we stuffed our faces as usual and got ready to head of again the next day, this time we are off to caloundra! Gud'ay folks, speak to you soon
