Woke up today to the most amazing sight! It was completely whited out with snow!

First things first, snow angels in the fresh powder.

We head for Loch Ness when I realize that I no longer have my bangle!! :( We turned around and went to the hotel to look, no such luck. Need to look in our bags again just in case it fell out into the bag. I can't remember when I saw it last. b*****!!!! Other than that it was very cold and snowy all day which was great. Had lots of fun playing in it. We are staying on the Isle of Skye for the next couple of days, which means a few big driving days...

I was a little worried about the drive to Portree today, mainly because we had about a foot of snow in Inverness and I didn't know what the road would be like.
Turns out the hardest bit was getting out of the car park!
The local authorities did a really good job of getting the roads driveable nice and early.
It snowed on and off all day but there was also some showers of miniature hailstones.
Loch Ness was really beautiful and the exhibition centre was quite informative and interesting.
We arrived into Portree and checked into our 'Inn' which looked a bit old and shabby. Once we got inside though it was a very busy pub that serves meals and thankfully the rooms were generous and comfortable.
It is COLD!
We have everything we need in the pub though: food, beer and a hot shower, so no need to go out tonight. We plan to circumnavigate the Isle tomorrow so should be a good photo day.
