New Zealand is meant to be the place for extreme sports. There was one thing… we went to Foxglacier next and camped at Gillespies beach FOC the weather picked up too.
Skydiving over the glacier was the plan! It dint sink in really not the suit, not the tiny plane, not even when my tandem guy came out limping! Only when the door opened and I tipped out the plane 1200ft up! It was brilliant! I did scream and scream (not as much as Chris ) and the turns made me feel a bit sick. Then the chute opened and we drifted gently past the glacier to a soft landing.I would do it again in a flash.
From there we went to Queenstown and camped at Moke lake. The weather was getting better .Then we got the earthquake 6.7 would you believe its our 3rd now .After all that excitement our only sport here was mini golf. Queenstown is a nice town if overpriced camps and loads of souvenier shops. We enjoyed the gardens by the lake andwatching the underwater observatory with fish and diving ducks.
