Been up the Jasper Tramway (cable car) to Whislters Mountain, at 7,500 ft it was 0'C and snowing slightly. Fantastic views of Jasper and the surrounding valleys. Hired a car yesterday and drove down the stunning Icefields Parkway to the Columbia Icefields, taking a tour onto the glacier. Had my first go at driving on the wrong side of the car and in an automatic, soon got used to it. Fantastic scenery. Went to Pyramid Lake this morning, was reluctant to get in any boat that had a risk of me getting wet, due to having only one jacket and my camera with me. Needless to say, after going for the canoe option instead of a good sturdy rowing boat, the canoe tipped over in 2 feet of water as Dan was getting in. What can you do but laugh?! Bit wet, jacket in dry cleaners, but still went on rowing boat. Only had 4 beers in last 2 days, nice to dry out a bit, but I think we'll be making use of happy hour later! The scenery around here is fantastic, really enjoyed the Icefields Parkway and Whistlers Mountain. Added a few more photos. Train to Toronto on Saturday. All for now.
