I slept in a bit today because we didn't have orientation until 2pm.. yay! I found out though that you can never get enough sleep :( Went to my baker today, love her, planning to befriend her in the upcoming months... Went to orientation, felt like 9am instead of 2pm thank you jetlag, and it went on for a while, and before I knew it it was 6pm and dark. Woke up this morning to my alarm (no sadly I did not get to sleep in) and I realized I made it through day 1. Woah. Yesterday I was superhuman. Thank you Jesus. Today I was more myself- did my morning routine in my apartment that had towels and everything, how cool. I stopped by the nearby bakery for a pain au chocolat... 1 euro... We woke up early this morning and hit up Lowe's at 6:45am to get some seeds to plant in our Marquette dirt in the sisters' yard. We chose morning glories because they're Marquette colors. We came back in time for breakfast, and we said our goodbyes to Mal after the meal (she left this morning for North Carolina). After her send off we headed out ourselves.
