We woke up early to get ready to visit Versailles with Vanessa and Zoë, and made sure to eat a hearty breakfast of strawberry pie. After the forty minute car ride, we were a little tired (Vanessa even fell asleep), but walking on cobblestone for a bit can wake someone up. We woke up somewhat early to go to Mass and scouts. We got to scouts and we helped set up tables at the community center, then went to Mass. The church was packed, but it was still a nice ceremony. The French don't hold hands during the Our Father, I learned, and they give kisses instead of shaking hands for the sign of peace. We woke up early to make the trek out to Honfleur, Normandy. For breakfast we had packaged crêpes to go, and they were still amazing. After dropping off Laure at the stables, we headed out. We slept in today too, and joined Laure on the couch again for a breakfast of chocolate muffins. Yum. After that, we just hung out. We helped Laure with a logo recognition game... We got kinda into it and kept coming back to solve more logos. Since the weather was cold and dreary, we had warm ravioli for lunch. The particular kind we had was from the mountains where Jean's parents were- there used to be a lot of Italian immigrants there that wanted to make raviol...

We slept in late today and came down to a delicious breakfast of homemade pain au chocolat and joined Laure on the couch. After that we made the trek upstairs to watch more tv :) after sitting for so long, we decided to take the dog Sanka for a walk. He took a dip in the pond and we headed for the wheat fields. We didn't have the right shoes on, so we just walked the country road. It was SO pretty. We came back and went in after Sanka took another dip in the pond...
