Hi all,

It was a long flight, but everything went smoothly, and we arrived on schedule at 10.50.a.m. this morning, Thursday 29 January 2009. We caught a shuttle bus from the airport that brought us direct to the hotel. After a freshen up we enjoyed a lovely fish supper 'al fresco' on the quayside, watching the ferry boats and enjoying the lovely warm sun. It is strange to go from winter to the middle of summer, everyone in shorts or summer wear and flip flops.

We are now catching up on sleep and planning a sightseeing bus ride around the city tomorrow, and possibly a boat trip to one of the islands.
