We set off to find the metro which is abut 500m from camp but there is no lift. None of the trams is accessible so we return to site and Nick gets set up for a quiet day while Ali goes with Nick W and Grete to explore. The birds start at 04:20 but we don't rise until 08:30. Amidst the meadow grass, poppies burst open in the morning sun.
