So far........I enjoy shopping here-it's cheap!! It's totally like Juarez, Mexico. They hound you and they love to bargain! And I don't know how to say "No" so yeah...you can guess how my experience went. haha Arlene now I know what you mean when you say Costa Rica is expensive compared to other places. I cannot believe how cheap it is here! Food is cheap here too..I got a dinner + soup +soda for $7...in America it would have been at least $18 to 2...

I read a little bit about it and it is not sounding good. It happened in Cusco/Machu Picchu area, which is where I am suppose to be headed for my volunteer work. Welcome back peeps!:)I'm off on another adventure starting bright and early tomorrow! I will be in Peru for about 3 weeks...volunteering yet again. I am a little nervous because I will be travelling by myself for the first 5/6 days before I start volunteering.
