Today was Boo's 6th b'day and also the day we had to say goodbye to half of the 'the Frenchmans' crew. So all us Victorians awoke this morning with footy fever as it was the AFL grand final today between Collingwood and Geelong. Was a bit momentous as the Geelong crew obviously barracked for the cats and l am magpies as everyone knows. The morning was spent doing nothing much but Dale, Mick, Craig and Melissa cracked the beer open early eager to start the day off. We woke up excited today about our anticipated expedition to 'the tip'. We rounded everyone up and left around 9:30am on a corrugated dirt road through Bamaga heading towards 'the croc tent'. This us a little souvenir shop in the middle of no where. A young couple own it and they have some really cool stuff for sale such as a cane toad purse and all the usual thongs like stickers amd stubbie holders. Today was a lazy day sitting around camp. Everyone was still pretty tired from the previous days disaster! Plus it was Kerry's bday so we all tried to make it special for her. We all woke today early with the aim of starting the cruiser and getting on the ferry as soon as possible. We had more fatality with the cars with our battery flat and Rod's starter motor stuffed.
