THANKS FOR ANOTHER FANTASTIC VIRTUAL ADVENTURE. I'M GLAD THAT I KNOW YOU OR I'D NEVER GET TO GO TO THESE NEAT PLACES. DID YOU NEVER GET A PICTURE OF THE 'FAT SISTERS'? OH WELL! YOU CAN'T WIN THEM ALL. COME HOME SAFELY NOW. HERE WE ARE BATHED IN RAIN AND IT IS SO CLOSE TO FREEZING THAT WE'VE HAD TO BRING THE GERANIUMS IN FROM THE BALCONY-GARDEN. NONE-THE-LESS THE RAIN AND MOISTURE IS A 'GOOD-THING' AND THE CITY IS GREENING-IN BEAUTIFULLY. EDMONTON WILL BE LOOKING IT'S BEST WHEN YOU GET HOME. CALL US AS SOON AS YOU ARE FREE TO DO SO ... ITS ABOUT THE BRIAN'S BIRTHDAY. TAKE CARE OUT THERE FROM MAURICE

Geez that went quick. I cant believe it's over. Well i think it's very important that you provide some written words for us people on the other side of the world who won't get a chance to pop in and have a natter. I really really want to hear about it as well. PS where is the next trip? :)
Love you gorgeous

Thanks for keeping us all up to date with your travels-great pictures! Looking forward to hearing about all of your adventures when you return home. It is incredibly hot here right now but will be cooling off by the time you are back. Cathy's cat Sammy has decided our front porch is his domain. What a brazen kitty-he doesn't even open his eyes when I come up the steps. Have a safe trip home.

What a great physical effort to capture such photographic excellence! Loved the shots taken in the countryside! So glad that you took both cameras.
Soon it will be time to board the big white bird & time to enjoy some hot toast, a cold fruit smoothie! Safe journey, Maria.....

Hey beautiful,
Your pictures and adventures look incredible. Makes me want to put on my hiking boots and get walking. Im amazed though that you can manage to get so many scenic photos without people in them. You're journey is just incredible and very inspiring. Would love to see these places too.

Hi, Maria:
We are enjoying your pictures and it looks like you are having some great experiences. I think us "older" folk will stick with the bus tours for our China trip - can't see Herb and I trekking the gorge! Looking forward to hearing all about your trip when you get back. Take care. Love from Rose and Herb.

DEAREST MARIA ... IT APPEARS THAT YOU HAVE BEEN HAVING A WONDERFUL TRIP. I HAVE ESPECIALLY BEEN ENJOYING THE PHOTOS AT LIJIANG. I THINK SOME OF THOSE SHOTS ARE CLASSICALLY BEAUTIFUL AND WORTHY OF FRAMING. THERE IS ONE DISAPPOINTMENT THO'. WHERE ARE THE 'FAT SISTERS'? WHAT, NO PHOTO? THE YAK MEAT CERTAINLY LOOKED APPEALING. YAK MEAT! TRAVEL SAFELY! SEE YOU SOON IN BEAUTIFUL SUNNY SUMMERY EDMONTON, ALBERTA
MAURICE P.S.: HI TO THE CHIASSONS!

I saw your friend (Leanne) at the Royal ALEX hospital's volunteer appreciation. It is cold in Edmonton, and it snowed in May.
Leanne
I forgot to tell you we got snow this past Tuesday!! Enough to get out & shovel! Crrrrraaaazy! Now don't you wish you were here? Yikes! It's coming down again now! Arg! But it's melting on contact... Thankgoodness! Some better weather is forcasted so things are looking up for us! That's the weather report from Edmonton. How's it over in China? You know us crazy Canucks... we love to talk about the weather!
Leanne
What a small world it is! I saw your friend (Catherine) the other night at the Royal Alex Hospital's volunteer appreciation. Now it's your turn Maria! See if you can find someone you know in China! Hee! Hee! Happy hunting! If you find this too difficult, find Waldo! Happy travels!!!
