Living the dream
Hellllo managed to find some internet again can't believe how difficult that is !!!Finished the great ocean rd some areas reminded me of cornwall very pretty coves without the pasties unfortunately !!! Had a spot of trouble one night had the van attacked at 2am some kids thought it would be funny to jump up and down on the roof which at the time was very frightening even though mark says he wasn't !!! seems funny now but not at the time luckily only damage was they riped a mirror off but the hire company didn't notice so luck was on our side ( I suppose when your in your twenties and drunk it seems funny to jump onto the roof of a camper van lol )
Adelaide was good very old fashioned and behind the times but well worth a vist, so droped the camper off and headed back to Sydney to pick up the camper to take to brisbane for the last section in oz
Started the gold coast by heading up into the Blue Moutains which was vast just miles and miles of forests everything is just so big in oz which is one of its down falls really it just takes so bloody long to get anywhere !!!! The blue mountains where impressive but we are a bit mountained out now and at 43 degrees was just a tad to hot to explore much and also a lot of the national parks are closed because of bush fires so last night finally started heading up the gold coast starting at a place called Newcastle which had a really nice beach and cafe section but seemed a little bit rough round the edges so decided to move on to the next stop Nelsons Bay to get our heads down after the last incident of free camping its now 5am in the morning ( up this early cos its so hot in the camper ) and all was ok with the van lol Nelsons Bay seems lovely going to spend a lazy day here today cos have had a couple of days of driving then later will head to the next stop Port Macquarie and hopefully find a camper site that has some room for us .
Still having a fab time and loving the travellers way of life XX

Alan & Trudy Sounds like sightseeing overload! Heavy rain here (just for a change) and lots on the news about the fires. The birthday meal looked fab and amazing surroundings to eat it. Look forward to the next update. Love Alan, Trudy and Lexie x
