So this morning we were up early again (see a pattern here; anyone that feels jealous that they are at work and we are not, well I reckon we are up alot earlier than you at the minute; this morning it was 5:30).Off to Pearl Harbour today we visited the USS Arizona Memorial which is on top of the sunken battleship and then also visited the USS Missouri (which Mark likes to call the Bissmark for some reason). The Missouri is a battleship that the surrender of Japan was signed on however more importantly is now being used as a film set for Battleship a new film about aliens attacking the Earth and the tour guides of the Missouri fight back; yes that is really a film; even Liam Neeson is in it. Luckily Ben Affleck was not around to spoil the tour.
We also went to the Punch Bowl pacific war cemetery and managed to get a free bus ride back from a nice bus driver which wouldnt happen in the UK.
We have also made friends with a few locals and watched an awesome Hawaiian 50's style band tonight which Mark is now obbsessed with.
Heading up to the North of the Island Tomorrow; hopefully there will be some more nice bus drivers to point us in the right direction.
Also the sharks were Galapagos and Sandbar sharks.
Also lookilikes: Jill and James but not together, Rich Rayner, Germaine from flight of the Conchords from the back and Louis Theroux from the front.
