Today we ventured off to the Expo, well seen as it is in Shanghai and we are in Shanghai it would be rude not to really. The Expo is were lots of countries put on a big show and build pavillions to show off their countries, it is the third largest event in the world after the olympics and the world cup, so after imaganing how important it is and how many people are in Shanghai and it being a Saturday and it being a National Holiday week you can imagine that there were one or two people there (and us two). After some poor organisation we managed to buy our tickets and ventured in. We saw some acrobats and wandered around some of the pavillions we didnt actually venture into them as the queing was about 3 hours to get in!!!! and we wouldnt spend 3 hours queing for much in life really. We also saw a chinese version of Sesame Street (Mark was a bit dissapointed by it though). We went for a wander through the French Concession after this which is a lovely part of Shanghai with lots of nice buildings and we saw were the Chinese Communist party came into being.
