Hi Alaine and Mark
lad you have at last set off on your long and exciting Journey. It is good to have the websitebecause we can follow all your travels and experiences. We went to Charlton House with Maggie and Jenny and it was awful food although we had a good time. Doughy cakes and thick sandwiches! Has Maggie told you we now have two kittens who are wreaking havoc throughout the house but we still love them. Must dash we are off to a posh party - hope its better than Charlton House. Love

Hi Mark and Alaine,
Sounds like a very exciting time your having there, what with rogue elephants, lazy Isralis and crocks!!! Great to see some pictures of you, mind you at the half way stage you both looked kinda pooped.
Anyway some news from home now. Angela and David are in Egypt, will be back next Thursday. Jason has decided to decorate the bedroom. He has thrown nearly everything out, including the bunk beds. Dad is going to get a sofa bed to replace them, so you got something to sleep on when you get back. Not really sure what he's got in mind.
Apart from that, life goes on pretty much as usual. Jason has a sore knee, and is limping everywhere, not sure whats causing that. Kenny seems to have recovered from his kennel experience and is back to normal.
Anyway you two, stay safe, keep up this magic journal and look forward to receiving your call in a couple of days.
Lots of love hugs and kisses

.........oops posted it before I'd finished writing.......
Am sitting in Shepton Mallet library with Jenny - left 4 dogs at home (Holly because Mark and Kim are both working, Tilly because Frankie and the girls are off down to visit Mary at the end of half term).
Hope you are still enjoying the first few days and that Alaine hasn't been to the toilet on her own yet (!)
Ally - your P45 from McKays arrived in the post today - we'll hold on to it unless you tell us different.
We're off to Charlton House for Afternoon tea this pm with Joy & John, Jude and George.
Presumably the fare won't be as exotic as anything you are eating at present.
Graeme's looking for his badminton raquet, don't suppose you can remember seeing it stashed anywhere?
Anyway must dash...........
lots of love Maggie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
