We spent most of the day at the beach again! The heat was much more bearable with the cool sea breeze. Late afternoon we packed up, had showers and then got a taxi boat across to the tourist village. The beach on the side of the port is lovely but you are unable to make use of it because of the amount of boats that use it! We wandered through the streets which were tiny but full of little shops, tourist information centres and food stalls! We mooched about before discovering the second beach. The village is an hourglass shape with beaches at both narrow parts. The tide was way out and it was a huge beach with a great view again. We managed to book our journey across to Ko Samui and its possible to do it in a day so we are now staying in Phi Phi an extra night! We also booked on a boat tour to visit the uninhabited part of the island.
As its Dad's birthday tomorrow we called him tonight as we wont be able to get to a phone tomorrow! They both miss me! Haha!
We then had to get a taxi boat back to our beach in the dark! Was interesting to say the least and we were curious as to how the guy could see with no light! We made it but he had to drop us further away from our resort because of low tide and we had to walk the rest. I just think he didn't want to crash into the rocks which are near our resort!
