Hello Well I have finally found a job at last, have had a couple of days temping here and there but otherwise it has taken ages. I start on Wednesday, it is working for vodaphone in a call centre so won't be the nicest of jobs but am just so glad I have finally found something and can start earning some cash!!! As the job hunting has taken up so much time I havn't been up to that much recently but have had chance to do a lot of reading which was nice! The australian open tennis has been here in Melbourne for the last two weeks and I went to the first day, I had such a great day and wish I could have afforded to go every day, it was so much fun. I saw Venus Williams get knocked out in the first round by a bulgarian girl, it was her first grand slam tournament. In the evening I managed to get front row seats for the Henman match which was just amazing, the atmosphere was fantastic, I got sat with a good group so it was a great laugh if not a little tense at times. Suprise suprise Tiger Tim lost but it was still great to be there all the same. This week I went away for a couple of days as Jemima and Ann-Margaret were down here visiting Melbourne, they had hired a car and we went down the Great Ocean Road, it was really beautiful and it was nice to get away from the city and the stress of job hunting for a couple of days. We managed to see some Koala Bears in the wild, they were quite hard to spot but once we had there seemed to be a lot of them. We went to the twelve apostles and it was swarming with police as the day before a man had jumped off the cliff and they still hadn't found the body, still managed to get some good photos though minus the helicopters etc. We found some great beaches that were empty so we had a bit of swimming and sunbathing along the way. We headed back to Melbourne for Australia Day celebrations which were on Thursday, we went out for a few drinks and caught the end of the fireworks. I am doing a days temping as a receptionist tomorrow (monday) and then have Tuesday off to prepare to start my job on wednesday, preparation for working 6 days a week is needed after having 3 months off work. Going to be tough, ha ha, it's a hard life. I am thinking of going to visit ramsey street on Tuesday perhaps, hopefully catch them filming. Anyway hope everyone is ok, I am missing you all, keep the emails coming.
