Missoula, Montana
Hello everyone! Sorry it has taken me so long to get some photos up. I've been roaming all over and honestly at some points gave up on trying to capture it. It can be so frustrating to try to capture the smells of the wild animals that hide behind the forest veil, the sound of absolute silence broken only by the whispers of the trees and crisp breezes that seem to go right through me, into something only the eyes can read..
It is fall, as you know, and the colors of the land are unrealisticly breathtaking, the elk have gone wild looking for mates, and the coyotes never fail to celebrate throughout the night. It has been an amazing adventure so far. Rigby sends his love as well. He actually just got done playing with about 10 other dogs, while I played a Montana native game where everyone has a nail in a log and you have to throw a hammer and try to pound the other persons nail into the log. Rigby and I both have come to see Montana as a small slice of heaven.
Although I have truly enjoyed journeying, just Rigby and I, it has been so good the past couple of days to be in a house constantly surrounded by interesting and caring people. All of the people here in Missoula have taken Rigby and I under their wings and made sure we were taken care of. We have cooked out every night and Joe has made breakfast in the morning....good breakfast, with strong coffee. :) I am sad to be leaving such a great community in the morning, but there is much more adventure to come...
I love and miss you all!!
