We arrived in KL and found somewhere to stay, had a look around and then hit the town. We met a couple of German guys in our hostel so sat drinking with them before all heading to a club. We had polished off a bottle of vodka before leaving the hostel and then got another bottle between the 5 of us as part of the entrance price so needless to say we were all very merry by the end of the night. This is the night I managed to lose my phone!! The following morning I was woken up by Matt asking me why I was sleeping on the sofa in the TV room, to which I had no answer. It turns out that I had got up at 7.45, left my room and walked to the TV room and fell asleep. I think I was either still drunk or sleep walking - or both!

The following day we explored the city. We went to the Petronas towers, did some shopping and went up the KL communication tower. Justin (who I met in Vietnam) came round later and picked me up to take me out for some food. It was good to see a different side of the city from someone who lives there. We went back to his flat which had an amazing view of the Petronas towers. The next day we got the bus out to the Batu Caves, it was a bit of a mission to get out there and then we had to climb 272 steps to get up to them whilst dodging the scary monkeys! Once at the top there was really anything to see so it felt like a bit of a waste of time!
