I'm having a go a taikng it easy on the booze front myself too. The feeling the next day just really isn't worth it and it is really annoying to not remember a good meal or night out with friends just because too much alcohol.

Yeah, it's tough. I left a 23 month old once (along with 5, 7, 9 and 11 yr olds) and I could tell when we got back that it had been very stressful for him. He suivrved, and since my trip was to go adopt a 20 month old I felt convinced it was important for me to be there for the new child. But I wish there had been a solution that better accomodated both children.Mary
