Well we started with a sleep in and a giant sized breakfast.....lots of fluids and then ready to start the day.
So what did we do.....ummmm, went into the hot tub, packed up ready to go tomorrow and then a nap and a walk through central park. So not much achieved today.
By tea time we all felt refreshed so went for our last 3 course fine dining meal. I started with escargot, first time I have tried them. Texture not great and they did taste earthy. Paul had a lamb shank that he will talk about for the rest of his life, he would marry it of he could. It did taste pretty amazing, he even had a picture taken of him with it and I promised I would frame it when we get home.
To finish the night off we had a cigar on the top deck before an early night.
The cruise has been incredible and I am converted. We will definitely do another one with royal Caribbean. The service is faultless and the ship is so clean. Our cabin is cleaned twice a day. We were told we need to fill out a survey once onshore tomorrow. If our waiter and cabin attendant get negative reviews from the people they are responsible for they lose their job. Each week the ship lay people off due to the feedback reports. We can't rate these guys highly enough and hopefully the other passengers in their area feel the same as they do a great job. So I now love cruises...apart from a little swaying. A week on here has felt like a couple of weeks. Downside is we have eaten so much food we will need wheelbarrows to get us down the gangway.
