A whole day sat on a bus and nowt interesting to discuss i slept a lot id become an expert at this after travelling on busses for so long i was pretty much out like a light straight away whenever i wanted which was good as id booked a flight from chicago and seen that the bus from Seattle from Chicago was going to be 1 day and 22 hours ouchie!!! Arrived in Seattle about 1pm on the 11th and it was a only a 20 minute walk to my hostel from the greyhound which ended up feeling like an hour with all my bags but i was pretty skint so i couldnt be dealing with gettin a taxi there, id decided on the green tortoise hostel after seeing the one in San Fran and what a good choice it was right opposite the fish market...u know the one where its really famous for people throwing and catching fish when there serving them so yey cant get more central. I was starting to feel absoloutly knackered but i couldnt go in my room yet as it wasnt check in time yet so i put my bags in a store room and went for a wander i needed paracetamol, anti-hystamines and fags what a lovely selection i got some food while i was there and went to relax in the smoking room where i eneded up chatting to some lovely people who were staying in this hostel before they went off for 6 months to fish in alaska i was to spend much of my time in this room, the girls i met in there who were twins diddnt even have a room there they were just there all time time seeing friends. Anyway i looked at some tours the hostel were organising and signed up straight away for the dead people tour, sounds morbid but u go visit famous peoples graves etc, and it had been highly recommended to me and it was pretty much a whole day thing as we went to loads of other places too and it was only a fiver. Had the in house meal for everyone on the evening helped clean up and had a few drinks before bed and went off to have a gd ol sleep in to be all awake for tomorrows trip.
Up bright and early for the awsome trip and my got it likes to rain in seattle doesnt it, just outside out hostel was a random old guy pants down his ankles dancing in the rain so tht was fun! Reminded me of the old guy off the simpsons. Anyhow i jumped in the mini bus with the other people whod signed up to do the tour and we got on our way first stop jimi hendrix's grave which aparently is only as big as it now cos twice people stole his gravestones scruffy c*** ! Seattle also diddnt like him for some reason even tho he was from there so tht was a little random. Then brandon and bruce lees grave and there was some guy with a bandana there putting down flowers bless him, we then went onto the house where kurt cobain blew his brains out and the bench where he used to write songs and smoke crack so lovely! Lucky im a morbit person really isnt it. We went for some lunch at an all u can eat chinese that was amazing, aparently diddnt taste any different to bannana leaf in boro if im honest. Then as my hunt for the dodge charger continued luckily our guide used to work in a classic car shop so we went there. Absoloutly no luck on the charger front but there was every other car soooooo sexy!!! Elenor was there and my god it makes me want one so much more now anyway we'd been out for a fair few hours and headed back obviously not before stopping off to see the scenic view of seattle...in the rain of course and incidently the view from fraisers alartment....even tho theres no apartments there, just a few houses.
When back at the hostel i went back in the smokin room with my buddays and they were of corse as usual smoking weed and drinkin i joined in on the drinkin but meh weed bores me, went to a local pub with a few of them for a few good drinks and a jig all in all a very good evening even if the rain was a big downer on everything but hey thats what seattle is famous for right.
