We had a lot of food to pack in today so we decided to keep the breakfast small and just have a donut from the good old favourite of dunkin donuts. After this we headed down to the subway and got off the last stop before the Brooklyn Bridge. We did the walk across with the thousands of other people with the same idea. It's a fairly easy walk apart from making sure you don’t get in peoples photos and avoiding being ran over by bicycles whilst overtaking the slow moving folks. You get some great views in both directions and was certainly worth doing.
After we got across the bridge we had a bit of a walk about Brooklyn heading in the direction of the main shopping area, which was a nice change from Manhattan with both a change in pace and architecture.
We headed for ShakeShack for some burgers and fries and my word was those burgers good. After lunch we had a final stroll around Brooklyn before heading back to the Rockefeller centre to get tickets to go up the top to the observation deck, but since it was so busy we got tickets for the next day then headed for a couple of cocktails. Next we headed to the lounge for a few beers before heading out to the area called Union Square for a drink before dinner. We decided to head to the Hills BBQ market we had been previously as we had enjoyed it so much. This time it was supper busy and had a live band on. We had a whole lot of meat and some cocktails before finishing the night off with an ice cream from the original shake shack in Madison park.
