WOOHOO!! WE'RE OFFICIALLY ON VACATION!! Got up early to trek over to Linda's for an early morning pickup by super shuttle towncar. The car they sent barely had enough room for the four of us with all our gear!! After much rearranging we finally got everything, and everybody, in!! (then had a scare when the engine died and had trouble starting up again). Thankfully we were soon on our way to LAX to begin our two week adventure to Alaska.

A 4 hour layover in Denver gave us the opportunity to meet up with friends and family. Met Michael and his girlfriend Cary, as well as Linda's friends, Larry and Colleen at Ted's Montana Grill just outside the airport. Great lunch...great company!!! BEST LAYOVER EVER!!!

On to Anchorage!! Boarded our flight to Alaska, only to have to get off again due to unrepairable fuel leak. Luckily frontier had another jet we could transfer to and off we went!! Arrived in anchorage just before midnight. Still light out!!
