On Wednesday 13th April we caught a bus down to Central Harbour and enjoyed a tour of Sydney Opera House. The lady showing us around was lovely and the inside of the building was as impressive as the outside. We were lucky enough to catch two rehearsals in the theatres. In the Joan Sutherland theatre we watched The Sydney Royal Ballet rehearsing for Swan Lake and in the second theatre we listened to the Sydeny National orchestra rehearse. It was absolutely fantastic!!
In the afternoon we caught a ferry over to Manley to meet up with some of the hockey girls. We went to Manley Beach and Shelley Beach which were both lovely. We met up with the girls at the house they were renting and we had some food and drinks with them before heading back to the hotel on the late night ferry.
A second fantastic day in Sydney.
