Looking back - over our shoulders - Argentina is sooo far away - DK even further! We met up with Mette´s friends Camilla and Sebastian yesterday and today here in Cusco and Camilla explained us why it feels like we have been travelling forever. Every day is filled up with new adventures, new input, new sights, new people, new food... It´s not at all like being home doing the same routine every day. So we have experienced soooo many fantastic things and now we´ll give you a short summary of the last week of Mette and Majka´s journey to South America.

We met up with Anders Thorn i BA from Wednesday till Friday and we had great fun sightseeing BA together with the best tourguide ever - Susana Baldini (extremely recommendable!!!). We actually got to see all districts in BA - the last being noisy inner city and the beautiful riverside with the most amazing steaks ever!! Not to mention the wine!!! We were in heaven flying with angels!!! A true gastronomic experience - go there and eat!!!

Thursday was folklore night in Palermo - local argentinian music and singing in a really nice place close to Susana. Here we met up with Claus Brunn (friend of Philip from uni) - so wired! Haven´t seen him in like 2 years and then we meet up in BA - it´s a small world!!

Friday was out of the city - away from all the noise and smog in BA - out to river/delta Tigre. It was a perfect day for that (we really hope to upload some pcs today - the connection is a bit slow - mildly speaking). 28 degrees C and out on a speed boat with our guide Christian. Wind in our hair, blue sky and the prettiest little islands with people living there in cute cute houses! We were actually able to see BA from the river and the smog was sooo obvious!!! Like a black snail hoovering above the city - quite disgusting! Here we also met Lola - the friendly odder. She was the cutest thing ever! She ran after Christian when he called her and she could be picked up and cuddled with, without her complaining! We think that Anders fell pretty much in love with her - he really wanted to take her home!

Early Saturday going to the airport with Anders... The flight to Lima was great! We love Lan Peru airlines! We were laughing our brains out watching Kung Fu Panda (Mette and Majka 3 years old, can´t help it!).

Then all the fun suddenly stopped... Flying to Cusco in a small plain - Mette calling out to Majka "look look look - there is the landing field, jubiiii!" - That was a bit too fast actually... Right after Mette outburst of happiness the plain flew up in the sky and circulated around Cusco for an hour. The captian came on saying something in spanish: "jhlhklñhimn sdfj sdgf Lima sdlijdlkjfkls". Damn it! We wre flying back to Lima! After a long fight at the airport, our new flight was booked, we were checked in at the airport hotel and everything was fine (except for getting up at 3.30 am!). Off we went, the happy campers ready for Cusco... Again we were a bit too fast. The plain was delayed, new boarding cards were printed, bla bla... That´s all history now - ´cause we are actually sitting in Cusco right this moment! Two very happy campers ready to the Inca Trail tomorrow morning wayyyy tooo early! The breathing is a bit troublesome - we feel quite old actually! Just a few steps up and we have to stop to catch our breaths (jesus!). So it will be very exciting how things will go the next four days...

We wont be here for a while now since we are moving on to a 7 day jungle trip almost right after Machu Pichu (JUNGLE TRIP!!!!! IT´S GONNA BE SOOOO GREAT!!!!).
